Ralph helping make Alpen a Cereal Winner Once Again
The Campaign.
BREAKING NEWS (from last week): a Swiss Alpine creature was spotted roaming the streets of London during rush hour. Helping make Alpen a Cereal Winner Once Again!
Before anyone called the authorities…
Relax. It was Ralph.
Once upon a time, Ralph lived the high-sugar celebrity life — rubbing shoulders with cereal royalty like Tony the Tigerand the Coco Pops Monkey.
But like many of us after a certain age (or after one too many bowls of Frosties), Ralph had grown up.
He had swapped the sugar highs for something a little more… Alpine.
Namely Alpen, courtesy of the fine folk at Weetabix.
So last week we unleashed a semi-retired Swiss cereal legend onto the streets of London during peak commuter chaos.
The Results.
The result?
🥣 100,000+ Alpen samples handed out
🚉 100,200 commuters reached
🤗 An alarming number of hugs from a large Swiss monster
📸 And roughly a million selfies (highly scientific estimate)
Commuters said things like:
“My mum used to buy this for me!”
“I used to eat this in the 80s!”
“I didn’t know Alpen still existed!”
“Is he actually best mates with Tony the Tiger?”
“Can I hug him?” (Yes. Many people did.)
And honestly… watching a giant Alpine creature high-fiving bankers at 8:30am outside Liverpool Street wasn’t something we had on our 2026 bingo card — but WOW did it work..
